Begining? Or The End?
I remember the days when as a young boy,
my life was all filled with Heavenly joy.
Our family was strong and held tightly with love,
That could only be sent from Heaven above.
As brothers and sisters we fought one another,
but were always calmed down with the love from
our mother.
I don't know why, but God sent her away,
he has taken her off to Heaven to stay.
I fought with her often, I argued and lied,
I guess God was watching, for I just couldn't hide;
The way I was talking back to my mother,
for now she is gone and for me there's no other.
She was the most wonderful woman I've ever to see
And I'm begging you God, please heed to my plea.
The Heavens and Earth I've heard are both free,
So please God send my mother to me.
We need her and love her and we all miss her so,
Is it very important that you take her soul?
Cause i miss her so much I think i might die,
If we can't have mother the family and I.
my life was all filled with Heavenly joy.
Our family was strong and held tightly with love,
That could only be sent from Heaven above.
As brothers and sisters we fought one another,
but were always calmed down with the love from
our mother.
I don't know why, but God sent her away,
he has taken her off to Heaven to stay.
I fought with her often, I argued and lied,
I guess God was watching, for I just couldn't hide;

The Silence of our bitter worth
PoetJudith Joe
Okay, so I am going to give a real review here. I'm a big advocate of rhyming poetry. My biggest thing with rhyming, however, is rhythm. The best way to develop style and eloquence is to write more and not be afraid of experimenting with your flow. I do encourage, write more, but think deeper and longer. Add more slant rhyme. Inner rhyme. Vary your line length. Writing poetry is like walking a dog. Your poem wants to go somewhere. Guide it. You're the writer, but also go on the adventure with the poetry. Your poetry reminds me of mine when I started writing at 16/17. It's deep and very organized. I also lost a parent when I was young. I was 19 when my father died. Other than my critique in the beginning, I really enjoyed your poem. Keep writing! I'm sure to check out some more of your pieces if you have more.
Hi! I really enjoyed your poetry. I think poems with beautiful visuals or illustrations are doing really well online these days and often reach a much wider audience. Even with a small investment, adding artwork to your poems can make them more engaging and shareable. I'm a commission-based artist, and I've been creating custom artwork for about 3 years. I'd love to help bring your poems to life with visuals if you're ever interested. You can reach me anytime via em@il: contact.lilaclines@gm@il.com Ig: _lilac_lines_ I'd be happy to chat!
