Blinded by choice

Some days I chose to be blinded,
I simply chose to cease from the truth,
I prefer illusions and delusions from facts,
Anxiety devours me when I open my eyes.

Hence the truth and facts are my enemies,
I detest that fact of mine but I chose to love it,
I believe no human should feel that way,
But in the current world, I think that's the best way.

The realization of facts and truth is like bombshells,
Unravelling the truth is preparing for therapeutical care,
Do I simply hate these days and times?
Simply yes, hence I create a universe that revolves around me.

Selfish isn't it?!
But it's the only way I maintain my serenity of mind,
I simply hate picking pieces of my own shattered heart,
Not really caused by my own actions but others.
