Death Game

Death is hidden around the corner,
waiting for the taste of my ruby red liquid,
To cover his scythe again. Its time to run,
Disappearing from his sight once more.

(Running for eternity, hide as often.
He'll find you always till you last breath is stolen.
Putting you in your coffin.
Your soul will be part of his collection.)

Its like a game he plays,
As the years go by,
I can taste the fears, closer he come near.
Knowing my time is soon to come,
Hearing the sing of the blade as he swings.

(He is death and yours shall be soon.
Taste the metal as the blade, inch from your face.
Watch as your blood pours out.
Leaving you cold and lifeless.)

He's here once again, the nowhere else to run,
staring in those skull eyes, knowing this has to be done.
He swing, he chops till the job is done.

(You lose, the fun is done.
Until your born again.
Then he'll come.)

This Poems Story

This wrote when I was fascinated with Grim reaper but I also feared my own death.
