Lost companion

Can you hear the song, one that summons our companions.
Over the rainbow we watch them go.
Heart wrench from the pain of lost.
Souls cry out from the bond.
Their time to fly among the rest of our lost companions.
Free of pain, hordes of snack, friend that have already passed waiting for them.
Eyes sore from constant tears, cheek soaked from it.
They are gone as we're still left behind.
The song summons them.
Leaving us in a wake of pain,
Sorrow looms over parts of the house.
Other companions know something wrong,
someone missing but don't fully understand.
The Need to numb our hearts.
The Need to stop our tears. The Angry of our lost.
We will see them again. One day join them beyond the rainbow.
They will wait for us.
For now we lost a companion.
The song of sorrow sing loud and clear into the night.
