Emptiness

My life’s unraveling,
emptiness traveling,
I’m such a sad being,
I don’t know what’s happening,

I walk around the world and see,
All the emptiness surrounding me,
Just cause you are near and here,
Doesn’t mean that you really hold me dear,

What really is loneliness,
If not the placeholder for prosiness,
Just like a drop in the well,
I’m one of seven billion but nobody can tell,

Filled by indignation,
Brought on by your causation,
All I wanted was my heart set ablaze,
But now I am filled with malaise.
