Energy Vampire

Creep into the tranquil coffin
my Salem’s lot,
You sneak in here so often
your fowl intentions rot,
robbing me of eternal rest.

Pierce my porcelain neck
with your Nosferatu lips,
Wounded from your toxic peck
my warm blood drips,
what bloodsucker hearts do best.

Vengeful leech
upon my unwary heart,
Decaying peach
bitter fruit from the start,
You have great power over me.

Gutter rat
burrowing in my bleeding soul,
Vampire bat
fluttering in any vacant hole,
Once a life force, now dreary misery.

From your Bram Stoker eyes
your predatory pupils I despise,
You have taken all I have to live.
Van Helsing mind
I realize,
I have nothing left to give.
So feed upon my ailing corpse
You are a vulture in disguise,
Spread your wings with no remorse
As I met my inevitable demise.
