Feeling Yourself Disintegrate
I can feel myself disintegrating.
I’m falling up, into the ether.
So much has happened lately,
I don’t know how I can continue.
Your words circulating,
Making me need a breather.
So much is piling on baby,
I can’t keep going, even for you.
I need a light to look to,
One that used to be you.
But since you did that one thing,
My words are muddled and my ears ring.
I can’t write a good line,
Hell, I can’t even sing.
I need you to be mine,
I want the warmness you bring.
I’m falling up, into the ether.
So much has happened lately,
I don’t know how I can continue.
Your words circulating,
Making me need a breather.
So much is piling on baby,
I can’t keep going, even for you.
I need a light to look to,
One that used to be you.
But since you did that one thing,
My words are muddled and my ears ring.
I can’t write a good line,
Hell, I can’t even sing.
I need you to be mine,
I want the warmness you bring.
