Fragments of Love: Through the Eyes of Friendship
I once believed in love, a truth I clung to fiercely. Or perhaps, I still believe in it, though the conviction falters when it comes to myself. The wounds of lies and neglect have constructed an impenetrable wall around my heart, where hope struggles to pierce through the layers of my own self-doubt. What I once thought was love was nothing more than a reflection of my own longing, selfish and misguided.
Yet, amidst this personal haze, my belief in love persists, though it takes a different form. It is in the friends who stand by me, who shine with a brilliance that makes the concept of love so vivid and real. I see their worth, their kindness, their incredible capacity to give and to receive. In their lives, I see the beauty of love manifesting, its tender moments unfolding with every shared laughter, every quiet conversation, every supportive gesture.
My friends deserve every whisper of love, every fragment of joy that love can bring, for their lives are a testament to its splendor. I romanticize their existence because their friendship is a living proof of love's potential, an exquisite dance of connection that I admire with a longing heart. Their worthiness makes me ache, as if I could borrow a piece of their happiness to heal my own doubts.
Their presence is a reminder that love, in all its forms, is real and deserving, even if I struggle to see it for myself. It is in their worthiness that I find a reflection of the love I yearn for, a love that I hope one day to believe in fully, not just for them but for me as well.

This feels like a nicely written letter and I like the concept. However, it reads more like a short story rather than a poem, and is missing ideational language. There is nothing to interpret or unpack here. Nevertheless, you‘re a great writer !
