Harsh Critic

Mellow your harsh, sir,
We are merely decorating with words,
Passionate novices
creative free time in our offices,
Pouring out the language of love
as you criticize from high above,
Construction is a critical zone
for the arrogant king on their judgmental throne.

Help me weave my sonnet
instead of casting discernment upon it,
Lead me down an obliging path
and spare me the wound of your scowling wrath.
I am but an eager peasant
am nothing but humbly pleasant,
Craving your extensive knowledge
from your animosity I do not acknowledge.
Look from behind your narcissist mind
and give me aid valuable in time,
Need nothing from you but to be complaisant,
Get rid of your angst…
My dear Harsh Critic.

This Poems Story

This was inspired by rating poems and while submitting my own comment, saw very judgmental and hurtful words. So this poem is directed at that and this should be a supportive community
