Hide it all away
In the silence I feel pain,
I can’t shake this sick feeling in my brain,
I’m left with this mental scar,
She was my guiding star,
I hope I’m not being dramatic,
How am I supposed to stuff my feelings in the attic,
I want to hide it all away,
I’m afraid that to this pain I’ll fall prey,
This sullen feeling’s disconcerting,
Does she understand this kind of hurting,
I think she knows it’s not easy to let go,
But maybe not cause she did so,
There is no way I could be angry at you,
I’m just feeling oh so blue,
I thought I would always be there to watch over her,
I never minded being the chauffeur,
I’m not the only one stuck on this train,
Sometimes I think it’d be easier to take cocaine,
I’m left here feeling heartless,
Afraid I’ll plunge myself into darkness.
I can’t shake this sick feeling in my brain,
I’m left with this mental scar,
She was my guiding star,
I hope I’m not being dramatic,
How am I supposed to stuff my feelings in the attic,
I want to hide it all away,
I’m afraid that to this pain I’ll fall prey,
This sullen feeling’s disconcerting,
Does she understand this kind of hurting,
I think she knows it’s not easy to let go,
But maybe not cause she did so,
There is no way I could be angry at you,
I’m just feeling oh so blue,
I thought I would always be there to watch over her,
I never minded being the chauffeur,
I’m not the only one stuck on this train,
Sometimes I think it’d be easier to take cocaine,
I’m left here feeling heartless,
Afraid I’ll plunge myself into darkness.
