Interrogative
I’ll pose it as an interrogative,
To prove to you that I’m thinking positive,
What is your life like without me,
I hope this way of thinking is healthy,
I like to think of questions,
Even if they only appear to be suggestions,
I hope you’ll take me seriously,
I wonder if my attitude’s coming off mysteriously,
I’ve got all these preconceived notions,
They are really challenging my emotions,
Let me ask you another question,
Do you believe this to be an unhealthy obsession,
I lour at the thought that being inquisitive hurts me,
I believe asking questions in therapy is key,
Trying to feel complete is the point to life,
Am I the cause of my own strife?
To prove to you that I’m thinking positive,
What is your life like without me,
I hope this way of thinking is healthy,
I like to think of questions,
Even if they only appear to be suggestions,
I hope you’ll take me seriously,
I wonder if my attitude’s coming off mysteriously,
I’ve got all these preconceived notions,
They are really challenging my emotions,
Let me ask you another question,
Do you believe this to be an unhealthy obsession,
I lour at the thought that being inquisitive hurts me,
I believe asking questions in therapy is key,
Trying to feel complete is the point to life,
Am I the cause of my own strife?
