Afraid and alone
Isolated and confused
Battered and scarred
Broken and used
Frighten and dazed
Delirious and wild
Homeless and caged
Just a 9 year old child
Studied and ridiculed
Mocked as a joke
Bland and lifeless
Lost is all hope
Starved and unkind
Desolate in demise
Anyone know what happened
To no child left behind
