Wishes

By Divine

Laying in a field of lavender
Naked, only the warmth of the sun covers me
Exposed
Venerable
Afraid
I watch the harmonious dance between bees and butterflies
Envious of the simplicity
A parade of warrior ants
Mighty in their single file
Desire heightens
A bettle finds a mate
One hundred worms
And not a bird in sight
Never thought I'd see the day
When I'd rather be a bug
