Later
Don’t leave anything for later; act now, don’t let time sway.
Later, the coffee will be cold; its warmth will slip away.
Later, you’ll lose interest; passion fades in idle wait.
Later, the day will turn to night; the darkness seals our fate.
Later, people grow up; youth departs in silent flight.
Later, people grow old; years pile on with patient might.
Later, loved ones die; hearts are left to mourn and pine.
Later, life goes by; moments lost no longer shine.
Later, you’ll regret not doing something when you had the chance,
Listen to me: You must act now, or time will swallow all your plans.
