Persist

As I pray to my Lord, our God up above, I sit and i wonder what has become of such love that seems only existing in movies or books. In a world where priority is laid up in looks. What does your bank account label your worth, is it as precious as you were at birth? Soon forgotten are the emotions that bound us together, there's no shelter from the imminent weather that is coming to test the fabric we're cut from. At the end of the day what is the sum, do we add up or fall short, are you level and plum? To tread the waters left behind, to withstand or succumb, quicksand for your legs is hard to overcome. Always remember the journey, though tough, is only this way to to teach us enough, not to compare with what others have done and to remind us of the sacrifice of God's only son.
