Protection
Said my goodbyes
But will say hello again tomorrow
The past few days have been filled with sorrow
Internally, that is
I hide my feelings behind my dignity
So no one is allowed to get close to me
“You built a wall”
And this is true
I didn’t know what else to do
All I do is wreck and ruin
So protecting everyone else was what I was doing
