Racing Wheelchairs
I have two items on my bucket list1. To punch someone in the face as hard as i can
2. To be old and race wheelchairs in a senior care center
These two items have been a constant burning flame
Two things that I absolutely have to do before I die
To feel an emotion so strong I can no longer hide my shaking fist
To feel the thrill of life… laughing with friends… living in the moment
not swallowed in regrets and longing
There have been nights I am laying on bed
Thinking things would be better if I were dead
But in the back of mind
Coming through the fog is this picture
Of me old… laughing… racing wheelchairs
This Poems Story
This poem is about my bucket list and how there are times when you just need one thing to push on, even though it may seem silly to others.
