Second Family
When you see them they make you smile and laugh,
The amount of care you have for one another can’t be measured on a graph,
Home is where the heart is and I left mine with you all,
Thank you for being my second family something I can say proudly standing tall,
Your generosity and kindness was always too much,
You always made that rice with a special touch,
I’m warm at night thanks to a knitted blanket gray and blue,
I know it would have been fun getting to enjoy wine with you,
A hardworking man and for the family a stable rock,
With a kind disposition and great intelligence both your job and math is a cakewalk,
You’ve opened my eyes in life to many new possibilities,
I wish I could have gone to Brazil with you to try new foods and activities,
The ever calm, cool, and collected one,
I can tell your a kid who knows how to have fun,
Looking back I wish we could have gone out more,
At least I’ll always remember that moment when our soda spilt all over the floor,
What else can I say about the daughter that hasn’t already been said,
She’ll forever hold a special place in my heart which I visit when I go to bed,
Love was never a word I could throw around that easy,
But after her it’s become so natural to the point where using it might be too cheesy,
Thank you is the only word that describes my appreciation,
Spending time with you all truly filled me with elation,
I really hope this isn’t the end,
Cause with you all there’s so much more time I’d like to spend.
The amount of care you have for one another can’t be measured on a graph,
Home is where the heart is and I left mine with you all,
Thank you for being my second family something I can say proudly standing tall,
