Sleep On It

By Cashin

I've lost again, the dreams that are good,
the sun leading the day over the horizon,
the dew quenching the nothingness
that possesses infinite density
which doesn't make a bit of sense,
and too the flower, too physical in its dress,
the heartbreak dumbfounded beneath a gauze,
or anywhere in the observable universe
that doesn't function like I am; not even
the neutron stars be is was or were just like me, perhaps
the human eye because I see black holes right next to me
rather than proof of this being atomic nuclei or, just me wrapped around my thoughts infinitely or
and all the clouds if you're to only look up ??
and wonder is he right about the human eye?
And can I reclaim the dreams that hold most value to me?
