Something in an Autumn Rain
They must put something in those plastic buckets
In those crunchy leaves
In those cheap costumes
In those colorful trees
In that crispy, sweet air
In those warm quilts
In those cups of hot chocolate
To make me keep coming back
Again and again, I really can't get enough
There's hints of autumns past
In every chilly walk
Pumpkin carving
Rerun of scary movies
It feels like something I've always known
That's slipping away
Year by year, day by day
But sometimes I can catch it on the breeze
Cup it in my hands
Savor the feeling like it won't come back
Though, the best part is that it always does
It's comforting to sit in the same feeling
You've felt since you were a child
When the warm sun hits my pinked, cold face
In just the right way
And I can smell the leaves curling
And I can hear the baling hay
And I can feel the cold breeze
And I can taste that cheap chocolate
And I can see the world turning
The way I always have
I have done it all before
And I will do it all again, gladly
I swear, they put something in an autumn rain
That keeps me alive
And will never change
In those crunchy leaves
In those cheap costumes
In those colorful trees
In that crispy, sweet air
In those warm quilts
In those cups of hot chocolate
To make me keep coming back
Again and again, I really can't get enough
There's hints of autumns past
In every chilly walk
Pumpkin carving
Rerun of scary movies
It feels like something I've always known
That's slipping away
Year by year, day by day
But sometimes I can catch it on the breeze
Cup it in my hands
Savor the feeling like it won't come back
Though, the best part is that it always does
It's comforting to sit in the same feeling
You've felt since you were a child
When the warm sun hits my pinked, cold face
In just the right way
And I can smell the leaves curling
And I can hear the baling hay
And I can feel the cold breeze
And I can taste that cheap chocolate
And I can see the world turning
The way I always have
I have done it all before
And I will do it all again, gladly
I swear, they put something in an autumn rain

Brilliant Miss Brown! From Heaven to Earth, from cradle to grave, grave concerns won't save, the child that misbehaves. So, light the light, of inner sight, and that spirit on stage, will never age.
