Whispers of Tomorrow

In shadows cast by choices made,
A restless heart, alone, afraid.
The echoes of my youth, they cling,
In silence, harsh judgments sting.

Each stumble carved a lasting mark,
A tapestry of light and dark.
The laughter of peers, a distant sound,
In the weight of their gaze, I feel unbound.

Loneliness wraps like a shroud,
A whisper lost in the clamoring crowd.
I yearn for a voice to see me clear,
To share the dreams I hold so dear.

I long for the grace to shed this skin,
To rise above where I have been.
For every mistake, a chance to grow,
Yet here I stand, beneath this woe.

Take me seriously, I plead inside,
Beyond the mistakes, the hurt, the pride.
In the quiet, I seek a space,
To be known for my heart, my hope, my grace.

So I’ll gather the threads of dreams once spun,
And weave a new tale with the rising sun.
For even in darkness, a spark can ignite,
A journey begun, to reclaim the light.
