Woe
Woe is me I’m so woe,
The loneliness I feel is more than you’ll ever know,
It’s hard to write joy when you have no heart,
Sorry to leave the mood quite tart,
What can unequivocally be explained as loss,
I suppose you see me as dross,
My darker feelings filling the void,
Can’t help but feel the line’s been cut leaving me schizoid,
As though walking along a cold desert at night,
Cold permeating my body worse than frostbite,
The vastness feels as though being in a box unable to touch the walls,
A disconcerting feeling similar to walking through endless halls,
One minus one still equals zero,
I have the feelings of an antihero,
To be apart from you is still so new,
If you wish to drive me away simply say shoo,
To have a comforting presence no longer there,
Waking up some nights in a scare,
My vulnerable love going unrequited,
Can’t shake this feeling as though it’s shortsighted,
Walking around surrounded by others,
Still feeling lonely since we’re not lovers,
Still trying to hold on,
Afraid to watch you slowly slip away forever gone.
The loneliness I feel is more than you’ll ever know,
It’s hard to write joy when you have no heart,
Sorry to leave the mood quite tart,
What can unequivocally be explained as loss,
I suppose you see me as dross,
My darker feelings filling the void,
Can’t help but feel the line’s been cut leaving me schizoid,
As though walking along a cold desert at night,
Cold permeating my body worse than frostbite,
The vastness feels as though being in a box unable to touch the walls,
A disconcerting feeling similar to walking through endless halls,
One minus one still equals zero,
I have the feelings of an antihero,
To be apart from you is still so new,
If you wish to drive me away simply say shoo,
To have a comforting presence no longer there,
Waking up some nights in a scare,
My vulnerable love going unrequited,
Can’t shake this feeling as though it’s shortsighted,
Walking around surrounded by others,
Still feeling lonely since we’re not lovers,
Still trying to hold on,
Afraid to watch you slowly slip away forever gone.
